Whenever I consume content from PCOS creators, I often find myself wondering about their specific routines: What supplements do they take? What is their actual workout regimen? What are they eating to manage the ebbs and flows of their cycle? If they’re eating X, are they also using Y to support hormonal regulation? What's their secret?
I feel like I’m getting only part of the story, and to make matters more confusing, it’s always changing. This inconsistency doesn’t help someone like me, whose trying to build a personalized program and understand the actual changes I need to make in my life. With that in mind, I decided to put together my ‘day in the life’ from square one. Here’s what my day looked like on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. As I continue to build my wellness journey, I promise to be transparent about any changes I make so you’re never left guessing. If there’s ever anything specific you’d like more information on, feel free to drop a comment below, and I’ll try to include it in a future blog post.
Without further ado, here’s a day in my life, weekend edition (with photos).
8:00AM - 9:00AM - Wake up and scroll through Instagram & TikTok for an hour. I know it’s not great for mental health or a morning routine, but this is me being honest.
9:00AM - 9:25AM - Get out of bed and do my dental hygiene routine (tongue scrape, floss, and brush teeth) followed by my skincare routine. I start with peeling off Hero acne patches, use a Mediheal toner pad, followed by Tower 28 SOS spray, Purito Centella serum, and Torriden hyaluronic acid serum. My skincare routine is slowly coming together as things have been changing quite a bit with my cycle, and I’m trying not to overdo it.
9:25AM - 9:30AM - Make and drink my beef bone broth. After lukewarm water, it’s the first thing I drink on an empty stomach to line my gut for breakfast. I’m obsessed with Bone Brewhouse packets because they have 15g of protein per packet and help keep me satiated in the mornings.
9:30AM - 9:45AM - While sipping on my bone broth, I start prepping my protein smoothie. I’ve tried a few protein powders, and nothing brings me as much joy as Schinoussa Plant-Based Protein in vanilla flavor. It enhances the berries and other ingredients' flavors rather than making the taste 'creamy'. I’ll drop my smoothie recipe below because it’s so quick and easy to make in the mornings, and I look forward to it every day and after almost of year of eating it for breakfast I've never once gotten sick of it.
10:00AM - 11:00AM - Once I’m done sipping my bone broth, I move on to my smoothie. On this day, I had it as a drink, but sometimes I have it as a bowl. I slowly enjoyed it, scrolling a bit more, looking at emails, and doing anything but getting myself out the door.
11:00AM - 11:10AM - Take supplements: inositol, adenosyl hydroxy, berberine, chromium, pre/probiotics, vitamin A, Omega 3s, Magnesium, and “Testoquench.” I’ll definitely get into this list and how it was decided in another post because it’s a lot.
11:10AM - 12:40PM - Walk with Magnolia! Even though it was blistering hot outside, my husband and I committed to a long, sweaty walk with Mags to get our steps in before the wedding we were attending later. This walk included a few shopping stops along the way and a trip to the dog park.
12:40PM - 3:45PM - Get ready for the wedding (not ours, that already happened). We were attending one as guests, and it took this long for me to get ready between showering, watching a little TV while my hair air-dried, blow-drying my hair, doing my hair and makeup, putting on my dress, realizing my dress was broken, fixing my dress, and getting my shoes on. Not bad, if I may say so myself!
3:45PM - 4:15PM - Drove to the wedding venue and made our way in.
4:15PM - 9:30PM - I won’t get into all the details of the wedding since it’s a one-off occurrence, but I’d compare it to a late dinner out with friends. Also, I don’t drink, so I was sipping on lime sodas and water the whole night.
9:30PM - 10:15PM - Arrived home, removed makeup, put on my Origins “Out of Trouble” mask, took my evening supplements (Berberine, Testoquench, and chromium), and got into my PJs.
10:15PM - 10:45PM - Watched an episode of “The Bear” and sipped on spearmint tea.
10:45PM - 11:15PM - Washed the mask off my face, put new patches over areas with acne, patted Living Libations “Seabuckthorn Oil” over the rest of my face, brushed my teeth, popped in my Invisalign aligners, took 2 Love Wellness “Bye Bye Bloat” pills, and called it a day!

I hope you find this detailed look at my day helpful as you navigate your own wellness journey. I do not get paid from sharing any products above (I will let you know if I do), I'm purely sharing in case these can help you. Feel free to reach out with any questions or topics you'd like me to cover in future posts!
As promised, here's my favorite morning smoothing recipe! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Tatiana’s Protein Packed Berry Smoothie
1 scoop Schinoussa Protein Powder (Vanilla)
1 c frozen mixed berries
1/2 c frozen avocado
1 handful of spinach
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Cinnamon (measured with my heart)
Blend until smooth in my Beast blender!
If served as a bowl, I also add:
1 tbsp flax seeds
2 tbsp hemp hearts
1/4 cup of Rawcology Grain-Free Granola in the “Blueberry with Açai” flavor because it has the lowest amount of sugar.
