Hi friends! I’m really excited (and a little nervous) to welcome you to this space where I’ll be documenting the journey to feeling at home in my own body.
I created this blog to share the ups and downs of living with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). When I was diagnosed at 26, I immediately went on birth control to manage my horrible hormonal acne. I was so insecure and ready to try anything to get my skin under control (I really did try anything… remember banana peels on the skin?). Little did I know, I’d end up relying on birth control for years, terrified of what might happen if I stopped—weight gain, acne, mood swings, you name it.
With this blog, I hope to offer comfort and insight into the realities of managing PCOS. By being open and honest about my experiences, I aim to provide tips and support for anyone going through something similar. You're not alone in this journey, and I want to create a space where we can share and grow together.
Of course, this blog is for anyone dealing with PCOS and hormonal issues, and it’s also for those who want to better understand all the wellness options available for feeling more like the version of yourself you want to be. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, have been living with PCOS for years, or are just curious, I genuinely hope you find something helpful here.
In future posts, I’ll dive into the details of my journey, from managing symptoms without medication to exploring holistic approaches. I’ll share the resources, strategies, and products that have made a difference for me. You'll get a front-row seat to my trials and errors, and hopefully, some of my experiences will resonate with you.
I’d love to hear from you! Your engagement and feedback mean the world to me as we navigate this journey together. Let's build a supportive community where we can share our stories and lift each other up.
Discovering different PCOS communities across social platforms has been a game-changer for me. Seeing other women share their stories made me feel less alone and gave me the courage to finally let go of birth control after 8 years. It wasn't an easy decision, but knowing I wasn't alone made all the difference.
That’s why I’m here, journaling through the trials and errors of my healing process—the good, the bad, the bloating, and the acne. By sharing this journey, I hope we can all feel a little less alone during the tough times.
Thank you for joining me. Here’s to feeling whole in our bodies, together,
Tatiana
